With electric saws not having that option, a multi-speed transmission on your electric saw is a huge advantage. Rear pivot design allows superior maneuverability. Locking / Unlocking differential aids in straight cuts and tight rotations. Optional quick disconnect blade mount allows user to easily disconnect blade from saw if a blade jam occurs.
