Propane +
Why is Propane + Better?
How Does it Work?
An oxygen sensor placed in the exhaust pipe measures the air-fuel ratio of the engine while running. A signal is sent to the Electronic Control Unit (ECU). The ECU then commands the solenoid valve to adjust the pressure in the propane regulator which changes the air-fuel ratio fed to the engine. This process happens every 500 milli-seconds and keeps the engine running at the optimum air-fuel ratio for propane at 15:1.
